HENRY ASANTE TWUM PULLED JORDAN AYEW AWAY FROM QUESTION ON DJED SPENCE CONTROVERSY
An awkward moment unfolded during Ghana’s post-match media engagements when Ghana Football Association (GFA) Communications Director Henry Asante Twum stepped in and ushered Black Stars captain Jordan Ayew away from a journalist’s question regarding the controversy involving England defender Djed Spence and Thomas Partey.
A video circulating on social media shows a journalist attempting to ask Ayew about the widely discussed pre-match handshake incident, in which Spence appeared to bypass Partey during the customary introductions before Ghana’s World Cup clash against England.
Before the Ghana captain could respond, Henry Asante Twum intervened, repeatedly saying, “Let’s go. Let’s go,” as he guided Ayew away from the interview area.
