If I were to start life again, I would go to school- Obaapa Christy
Ghanaian gospel musician Obaapa Christy has said education is the one thing she would have changed if given another opportunity.
Speaking on TV3, the musician said combining her talent with formal education could have helped her achieve more.
“What I would have changed is that I would have gone to school. The gift God has given me, combined with education, would have helped me achieve greater things,” she said.
Obaapa Christy, however, acknowledged that she has achieved success despite not having formal education.
“Even without formal education, I am doing well. So, being educated would have made me attain more,” she added.
The gospel musician also said she would still choose gospel music if she had to make the decision again, explaining that her ministry has created opportunities for her.
“I would still have chosen to be a Gospel musician because looking at where I came from and how God uses my ministry to uplift me and create opportunities for me,” she said.
She added that spreading the gospel remains the path she would dedicate herself to.
“I cannot think of anything better than spreading the Gospel of the Lord. For the work of the Lord, I would still have dedicated myself to it,” Obaapa Christy stated.
