SONGBIRD GYAKIE JOINED ‘PRRR WATCH ALONG’ HOSTED BY KSS AT UPSA
The vibes were immaculate at the University of Professional Studies, Accra last night.
Singer and songwriter Gyakie linked up with the prrrrghana team and hundreds of Black Stars supporters for a massive watch party, and the atmosphere was electric as Ghana kicked off their 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign against Panama.
And what a way to win it. Caleb Yirenkyi scored in the 95th minute to hand Ghana a dramatic 1-0 victory, a last-gasp tap-in off a brilliant Brandon Thomas-Asante run that denied Panama a historic first-ever World Cup point. Heartbreak for them, pure scenes for us.
When the final whistle blew, Gyakie turned the celebration all the way up, treating fans to her hit songs as UPSA erupted. The win also sends the Black Stars to the top of Group L alongside England.
The event builds on the success of the maiden edition held at the University of Ghana campus, and if last night is anything to go by, this watch party series is only getting bigger.
