Stop being lazy, a man is not supposed to take care or you – Nana Aba Anamoah tells women
Nana Aba Anamoah has urged women to stop putting unnecessary pressure on men to provide for them, saying being a man does not automatically mean he can afford everything a woman demands.
The Group Chat host on UTV shared the message on X, questioning why men should be expected to provide money even when they genuinely do not have it.
“Stop piling unnecessary pressure on men. The fact that he’s a man doesn’t mean he’s automatically responsible for providing whatever a woman asks for,” she wrote.
Nana Aba argued that a man’s inability to provide at a particular time should not be treated as a failure, asking what he is expected to do when he has no money.
“What if he simply doesn’t have it at that particular time? What exactly is he supposed to do? Steal? Being a man doesn’t make money magically appear,” she added.
She also suggested that women should consider working to meet their own financial needs instead of placing the responsibility entirely on men.
According to her, women can seek help from others when necessary, but they can also work for what they need through employment or by getting a job.
